Gareth Thomas: Harrow's Local Candidate

Gareth ThomasI was born and grew up in Harrow and I still live here with my young family. That's why I'm incredibly proud to have people across Harrow West supporting my re-election.

For more than twenty years I've been working hard to build a better Harrow by investing in our schools, supporting our local police service and protecting our hospitals and walk in centres.

In this election, I'm standing against a Tory candidate who doesn't even live in London, let alone in Harrow. She cares so little about our community that she has refused to take part in a single debate with ordinary residents.

Harrow needs an MP who will stand up for and champion our Borough. If you if re-elect me on 8 June I'll work hard to be a strong, independent voice for Harrow in Parliament.

Thanks,

Gareth

I've known Gareth for many years, he grew up in Harrow and lives locally, and I know he will always be a strong voice for Harrow's NHS in Parliament.

Dr David Lloyd - GP and Senior Partner at Alexandra Avenue Walk-in Centre

I've known Gareth for 30 years and find him someone who has the best interests of residents at heart, and he works well with local police to identify and tackle problems.

Neil Vyse - Former Police Commander & Superintendent, Harrow Police 2009-12

As a GP, I see on the front line the huge pressure facing our NHS. I know Gareth Thomas has already secured better NHS services locally and trust him to fight for Harrow's health services.

Dr Sugantha Radhakrishnan - GP and Harrow on the Hill resident

I want the best for my children, so the £15m Conservative cut to Harrow schools really frightens me. I trust Gareth Thomas as the best champion for Harrow in Westminster.

Diane Grey - Parent, St Anselm's Primary School

Gareth often pops into my cafe and is very active in our community. Many of my customers tell me how much he's helped them with any problem they might have. I know he will always work hard for Harrow.

Syd Peyman - Local Businessman, West Harrow Café

I'm worried about antisocial behaviour and there's been a few burglaries recently. We can't risk the closure of our police station and I trust Gareth to fight for more bobbies on the beat.

Elizabeth Smith - Resident, Harrow on the Hill

I've known Gareth for over 35 years, since he was in the 2nd Headstone Scout Troop. Gareth is from Harrow, has always lived here and cares deeply about our community.

John Willock - Gareth's former Scout Leader
