Gareth welcomes the Gujarati community to Parliament.

Gareth Thomas MP for Harrow West was proud to welcome Harrow’s Gujarati community to Parliament. To thank artists, comedians, writers and actors from Gujarat for their contribution to Gujarati art, television and cinema.

Also in attendance to celebrate their contribution were two ministers from Gujarat, Mr Suresh Godani and Bhanubhai Jabalia. Harrow Community worker Dilip Chaubal played a leading role in the organisation of the event inviting guests and providing the itinerary.

The event was also attended by his holiness Bhogilal Panchal to provide a significant spiritual aspect to the event.

Gareth commented “It was fantastic to see how so many different talented people and to thank them for their contribution to the arts. It’s clear the Gujarati community has had such a positive impact, not only in Harrow, but across the world.”
